In 2024, Dr. Stephanie L Anderson was nominated and received recognition as an “Empowering Woman to Know.”

She has spoken at the United Nations, where the President of the United States, also awarded her with the President’s Volunteer Service Award with an accompanying letter signed by President Joe Biden, because of the passion for advocacy and empowerment that shines through her work, inspiring all to embrace their authentic selves and stand tall against discrimination. To commemorate this incredible achievement, she was featured on a billboard in Times Square later that day. 

Dr. Stephanie L Anderson’s work has been featured on over 400+ media national and international outlets including ABC, CBS, the CW, FOX, NBC, and Yahoo to name a few. She’s a global speaker having shared her message on the Global Speakers Talk platform and the host of “The Mane Health” TV Show that airs weekly.

What she says about her talk at the United Nations,  “I aim to ignite empathy, compassion, and education. I aspire to break down stigmas, foster a sense of inclusivity, normalize mental health awareness, and encourage individuals to support and uplift those who experience alopecia, fostering a world that embraces diverse forms of beauty. Also, using the Alopecia Affirmations I created by sharing on social media using #alopeciaaffirmation to join the movement and challenge the social stigma of alopecia,” she expressed.
